my best blog decision of 2013… joining in on the fun of the
with these wonderful ladies:
lauren @ From My Grey Desk Blog
casey leigh @ The Weigands
nicole @ The Style Hatch
alycia @ Crowley Party
ashlee @ Growing Up a Thomas
and
of course, my lovely ‘blogger match-up’…

iris is a hard-working, loving, honest mama… and mighty crafty!
she put such thought into the little package she sent my way…
one evening, after a loooooong day at the office i came home to
a perfectly wrapped package all the way from Staten Island, NY
and i have to say, the contents filled my heart & made my day.
all the gifts were hand-made with love by miss iris herself J
first, some ADORABLE note cards…
because who DOESN’T need a mustache note card to leave love notes for
your hubbi?
next, the coziest of cozy knit beret!
this chunky, warm goodness is just too cute!
you like?
and then… as IF it could get ANY better…
there was this:
LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.
what a thoughtful gift!! lady OBVIOUSLY read up on ‘our rustic wedding’
and mixed my love of wood with my love of hubbi
(get your mind out of the gutter)
iris -- thank you, thank you, thank you!
and happy valentines day to you & yours
i’m so happy i took part in this swap
i really enjoyed connecting through the blogging world
and totally loved being crafty on my gifts to miss iris – hope you enjoy!

What a super cool idea! How sweet of her to make the photo project from your wedding! Homemade gifts are always the best since there was thought and time put into them. Heather
ReplyDeleteWOW, the beret looks amazing on you! I was also a participant in the Valentine's Day Blog swap and had a blast.
