... our rustic wedding: Keep Them Happy

Another 'Wedding Wednesday' is upon us...

So far we've covered:

Now that they're here... Keep Them Happy :)

My BIGGEST fear
of getting married in July on a FARM
was the HEAT.

so, I came up with some DIY wedding projects to ensure everyone
was happy & comfortable.

#1 - STAY HYDRATED

we created a Mason Jar Water Table
complete with:
- pre-made jars of water on ice
- basket for mason jar lids
- cute striped paper straws
- sliced lemons & tongs
- water for re-fills

not only did the guests sip away,
but, pre-ceremony i was dyyying of thirst and shared a jar {or two} with my sis :)

#1 - PROTECT YOURSELF

be prepared for the elements.
we made sure to have on hand
PLENTY
of suncreen & bug spray
juuuuust in case.
i'm pretty sure these came in handy,
esp when the sun went down on the farm & the bugs came to play!

i will say, i still have enough supply to last a lifetime,
but hey... better safe than sorry :)

hope you enjoyed these DIY wedding projects
to help keep your guests happy
(and look super cute)

  2. That is all so awesome! I live in OK where no one really has outdoor weddings in July, but I have been to a few outdoor weddings in May and September, that were miserable because everyone was so thirsty the entire ceremony! So this is genius! And I love the idea of giving everyone sunscreen and bugspray. Your wedding looks like it was amazing!
